The Menalon Beer is produced with the support of the brewer Alexandros Koumantos on behalf of the "MAINALON Social Enterprise" in an attempt to revive the crops of the old local varieties of barley (census 1512) and hops (Golden Awards of the Triantafyllidios Legacy of Vytina, in the interwar period) in the area of Mainalo.
For this purpose, the traditional method of production has been chosen, exclusively from barley malt, hops, water and yeast without any additives and improvers.
Its revenue supports the promotion of the Menalon Trail,
the first Certified Trail in Greece, with European specifications.

The label of Menalon Beer has as its figure a native resident of Stemnitsa who wears a hat. The type of this hat used to be in the area for many years, as evidenced by a wall painting of the 17th century in a temple of Stemnitsa and recorded in a documentary - a tour of Stemnitsa in 1930.
